This weekend we went to the Mobile Botanical Gardens Spring Plant Sale, Plantasia. We had such a good time. I could have spent our life savings there but thankfully I only took the amount of money we were planning to spend. We got some nice plants and I got a chance to add more plants to my wish list. Here are the plants we purchased:
Blueberry 'Georgia Gem' |
Aspidistra elatior 'Milky Way', Variegated Cast Iron Plant |
Heuchera villosa 'Caramel', Coral Bells |
Hakonechloa macra ‘Aureola', Japanese Forest Grass |
And just because I can:
One of our containers by the front door. We re potted it and it is doing great! |
I miss that plant sale every year. Wish I had known - oh well. You picked up some nice plants. My blueberry bush does really well. Love the heuchera. Hope you are enjoying this lovely weather.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you cleaned up at the sale. Isn't it fun to find one with so many great plants. Those coral bells are beautiful. One of my favorites.

Plant sales are always lots of fun. I usually try to only take the cash that I want to spend or else I end up with more than I planned. It looks like you got some real nice ones!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! Plant sales are so fun. I love the Hakonechloa. I bought mine ten years ago and now it's been divided about 5 times and grows nicely in my shady areas. It's a total winner. And who can resist a Heuchera? :) Gorgeous! Thank you for visiting my blog. I'll be back.
ReplyDeleteI've often thought about growing blueberries, I'm not sure what's stopping me! I'm still a month or so away from planting my containers, but it's so tempting to rush things with the warmth we've had. But it's only March, so I will resist!
